Christmas in Quebec City

Adam and I, along with Adam’s parents, sister, brother-in-law, new baby niece, and brother-in-law’s parents vacationed in Quebec City over Christmas this year.

Our hotel was the amazing Auberge Saint-Antoine.  It was a beautiful hotel in the old city, close to the port of Quebec.

This is similar to what our room looked like.  So comfy and lots of space!

We has a fabulous time touring the city, eating amazing food, and spending a lot of time relaxing.  The tub in the bathroom was big enough for me to fully lay down in! That hasn’t happened in years!

Three Things Thursday

Here’s what I love this week:

podcast-green

The Nerdist podcast.  Heather did a post last week about her favourite podcasts, and Nerdist was on the list.  This podcast is hosted by Chris Hardwick, Matt Mira, and Jonah Ray; three super-funny guys that have great chemistry and awesome guests.  I listened to the most current episode last week, and then downloaded about 15 past episodes because it was so funny.  My favourite episodes so far? Jon Hamm and Alison Brie.

Veronica Mars.  We just re-rented the first season this week, and I had forgotten how much I like it.  I always start liking shows after they’ve already been cancelled, and this one is no different.  It packs a lot of material in 3 seasons, but I’ll always wish for more.

DCbook(source)

Adam gave me this book for Christmas, and I’ve started reading and marking things I want to see and do in DC.  We’ve been talking about our summer vacation this year, and I think we’ve just about got it figured out.  Four words: Road. Trip. Baseball. DC.

What do you love this week?
